Roger Taylor is one of the most sought after experts in the areas of
integrated, inter/intra disciplinary curriculum. He is best known for
his unique ability to present research-based information in a humorous
and entertaining manner. Educators will develop a curriculum that will
challenge K-12 students to understand the relationship among content
areas, global issues, problem solving and creation of new and unique
ideas.
Over 1 million educators have experienced Dr. Taylor's
workshops, keynotes and week long curriculum writing institutes. He
has assisted over 2500 school districts in the U.S., Canada, Europe,
Africa, Asia, and the Middle East in incorporating a team approach to
education. Teachers and children have directly benefited from Dr. Taylor's
AHA (Analyzing Human Activities) model. Building on his classroom experience
at the primary, intermediate, and upper grade levels in both rural and
inner city areas, Dr. Taylor has helped thousands of K-12 teachers create
integrated, interdisciplinary, thematic curriculum appropriate for their
students.
Dr. Taylor has been recognized in Who's Who in Education
and was named by IDEA (Institute for Development of Educational
Activities) as one of the Best of the Best. He gave the 1997 "Distinguished
Lecture" for the ASCD National Conference in Baltimore and
most recently received the 1999 Phi Delta Kappa Award for "Outstanding
Contributions to Education".
