Debbie Lauer is a founding member and associate Director of Wavelength. She has a theater degree from Colorado State University, and has taken numerous comedy workshops with such notables as Marty Feldman, George Carlin and Jonathan Winters. She has performed FACULTY LOUNGE for National audiences as ASCD, NASSP, NSDC and MNSA and school districts across the country. Debbie Lauer's one woman, 11 character keynote is designed to get your faculty talking. Her presentation humorously captures the voices of all who inhabit the educational community teachers, parents, students, administrators, and a few surprises. FACULTY LOUNGE highlights one week in the lives of four teachers, focusing on the typical challenges today's educators face. The show tackles diverse issues as: Authentic Assessment · Block Scheduling · Multiple Intelligences · Educational Burn-Out Site-Based Management · Violence/Conflict Resolution.
