Dan has spoken to over 2.5 million people in all 50 states, throughout Canada and 15 other foreign countries in Europe, Asia and the former Soviet Union.

He is the primary contributing author to Chicken Soup for the Soul, co-author of Chicken Soup for the College Soul and author of twenty of his own highly acclaimed books. Dan's story Puppies for Sale was recently made into a motion picture starring Jack Lemmon.
